Function: Improve germination rate and germination uniformity; induce seed immunity, reduce soil‑borne diseases such as damping‑off at seedling stage; promote radicle growth and enhance seedling resistance to low temperature and drought.
Note: Conduct small‑scale trials before large‑field application.
1. Recommended Concentration (chitosan‑oligosaccharide technical material)
- General seed‑soaking concentration: 50‑150 ppm (0.005%‑0.015%), suitable for most grain and vegetable crops.
- Sensitive small‑size seeds (lettuce, tobacco): 50‑80 ppm. Excessive concentration will inhibit germination.
- Large hard‑shell seeds (peanut, corn): 100‑150 ppm. Use higher dosage priority under low‑temperature sowing conditions.
For commercial 5% chitosan‑oligosaccharide aqueous solution: dilute 350‑800 times.
