Aminoligosaccharides, also known as chitosan oligosaccharides for agricultural use, are widely used as biological pesticides for disease prevention, disease resistance, nematode killing, and growth promotion in the agricultural field. Aminoligosaccharides not only have the ability to induce plants to actively improve their own stress resistance, but also have the effect of activating plant cells and stimulating plant growth. The direct inhibitory effect on plant pathogens is also an essential component of its disease resistance.

The application of 1.0‰~5.0‰ aqueous solution of amino oligosaccharides has a certain growth-promoting effect on the chlorophyll content (SPAD value), plant height and stem thickness of tomatoes, and with the increase of the concentration of flushing, all indicators have an upward trend. When the 5.0‰ aqueous solution of amino oligosaccharides was applied, the chlorophyll content (SPAD value), plant height and stem thickness reached the highest, increasing by 35.98%, 8.07% and 4.05% respectively compared with the clear water control (CK).

The application of oligoaminosaccharides had different degrees of influence on the aboveground dry weight and number of flowers of tomatoes. The overall growth and root growth of tomatoes were better than those of the clear water control (CK). With the increase of the concentration of oligoaminosaccharides, the aboveground dry weight and number of flowers of tomatoes increased.

The percentage of root knots and the root knot index of tomato plants were reduced to varying degrees when oligoaminosaccharides of different concentrations were applied. Different concentrations of oligoaminosaccharides had a certain control effect on tomato root-knot nematodes. Overall, with the increase of oligoaminosaccharides concentration, the number of root knots and the root knot index were significantly reduced, and the root-knot nematode disease was effectively inhibited.


The results of this experiment show that the application of oligoaminosaccharides solution can not only play a positive role in the growth and development of tomatoes, but also reduce the number of root knots and the root knot index of root-knot nematodes. When amino oligosaccharides 5.0‰ aqueous solution was applied, the growth indicators of tomatoes were the highest, among which the chlorophyll content (SPAD value) increased by 35.98%, the plant height increased by 8.07%, the stem thickness increased by 4.05%, the aboveground dry weight increased by 19.58%, and the number of flowers increased by 28.26%; the root knots decreased by 63.58% compared with the clear water control, and the relative protection effect reached 52.79%, with the strongest ability to inhibit root-knot nematode disease.


Therefore, the best concentration of amino oligosaccharides for tomatoes to deal with root-knot nematodes and promote growth is 5.0‰.
